Option A: Using the Gmail App (MUCH BETTER OPTION)
- Open the Gmail app.
- Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner, then select Add another account.
- On the “Set up email” screen, select Other.
- Enter your full cPanel email address and tap Manual Setup.
- Select IMAP as the account type.
- Enter your email password and tap Next.
- In the Incoming server settings, verify the Username and Password are correct.
- In the Server field, enter your incoming server hostname (e.g.,
mail.yourdomain.com) and ensure the Port and Security type match the cPanel secure settings (Port 993, SSL/TLS). Tap Next.
- In the Outgoing server settings, ensure Require sign-in is checked. Enter the SMTP server hostname and verify the correct port and security type (e.g., Port
465 with SSL). Tap Next.
- Adjust account options like sync frequency if needed, then tap Next.
- Enter your name (which will appear on outgoing messages) and an account name (for your reference in the app), then tap Next.
Option B: Using the Samsung Email App
- Open the Email app on your Samsung phone.
- If this is the first account, enter your email address and password, then select Manual setup. If not, go to Settings > Add account > Other.
- Choose IMAP account.
- Enter your email address, username (full email address), and password.
- Enter the Incoming server details (Server:
mail.yourdomain.com, Port: 993, Security: SSL).
- Enter the Outgoing server details (Server:
mail.yourdomain.com, Port: 465 or 587, Security: SSL or TLS). Ensure “Require authentication to send emails” is toggled on.
- Tap Sign In or Next to complete the setup.
Once the settings are validated, your cPanel email account will be ready to use on your Samsung phone. You can now send and receive emails directly through your chosen app.
